The team completed an equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) audit across the University of Liverpool, the University of Oxford and Unilever, reviewing how the organisations embed these policies within the partnership. The audit found wellestablished policies across all partners and a shared commitment to building multidisciplinary, inclusive teams. Discussions highlighted the influence of organisational hierarchies on team dynamics and the importance of addressing these to create effective working environments. The review also surfaced differences between academic and industry approaches to project delivery which prompted valuable crosssector learning. Since project inception, the team has adapted meeting formats and collaboration practices to better accommodate diverse working styles, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. EPSRC’s feedback commended the partnership’s proactive approach, noting strong implementation and monitoring of EDI practices, positive culture across sectors, and the thoughtful uptake of neuroinclusive meeting guidance. This audit reinforces the partnership’s ongoing dedication to fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports innovation and shared learning.
