Professors Matt Rosseinsky and Andy Cooper have been honoured with major Royal Society awards for their pioneering work in materials chemistry and digital approaches to chemical discovery. Rosseinsky received the Royal Medal for Physical Sciences for breakthroughs in designing new materials using advanced digital tools, while Cooper was awarded the Davy Medal for integrating AI, robotics, and computational chemistry to transform how chemical research is done.
