Prof. Matt Rosseinsky delivered the keynote address titled ‘Discovery of inorganic functional materials in the digital age’ at the AIInfused Sustainable Manufacturing Symposium, in London on 11 November 2025. The event, co-hosted by Prof. Charlotte Williams, brought together researchers and industry partners to explore how artificial intelligence can accelerate the transition to lowcarbon manufacturing. Rosseinsky highlighted how AIguided materials discovery, datadriven design, and advanced characterisation tools are reshaping the development of sustainable materials which are themes central to Cleaner Futures’ mission to create renewable, biodegradable alternatives for consumer products.
