On 27 February, 2024 the project hosted a one-day conference – Sustainable Carbon for a Net Zero Chemical Industry
in the Materials Innovation Factory at the University of Liverpool. Over 100 delegates joined to hear speakers from academic, industry and NGOs discuss the future of the chemical industry and the progress and ideas that will enable us to realise a net zero future. The day finished with a panel discussion focussed on reflections from the day and a networking event.
